Intake Procedure:Women call the Fund. Someone will answer M-Th 9am-4pm; Fri 9am-1pm. Outside of business hours,
they will leave a voice mail and somebody will generally respond within 24 hours (unless they call Friday night and someone does not return to the office until Monday morning). The Fund will see if they qualify for Medi-Cal and encourage them to apply if they have not and assess their situation to see if there are other ways the Fund can help. They do not need to have an appointment before calling.
