Intake Procedure:Women call the fund hotline. Line is usually answered during business hours. Callers who leave messages receive return calls usually within 24 hours. Intake includes options counseling if needed, assessment of woman's situation and financial need, preliminary conversation about contraception and safe sexual practices, referral to clinic and other needed medical and social resources. Clients make their own clinic appointments.
