Intake Procedure:Women may call or email the Fund. The Fund responds ASAP. The Fund determines gestational age; assesses all resources (money, transportation, license), support system; job, if on Medicaid, student, extenuating circumstances (e.g. foreign national or immigration status; non-English-speaking,). Immediately the Fund advises woman to call NAF and start that process (except for occasional PP referrals); the Fund requests info on what clinics the woman has called and obtains cost info for procedure. The Fund is in frequent contact with client until the procedure is carried out.
