Intake Procedure:NYAAF makes grants to clinics. A woman schedules an appointment with the clinic and the clinic should contact NYAAF directly to discuss funding for the patient. In some cases, women call NYAAF directly and we will attempt to assist them with finding an eligible clinic where they can be seen. Again, the clinic should contact NYAAF to arrange funding once the woman makes an appointment there. If a woman has an appointment at a clinic that is not willing to or not staffed to contact NYAAF directly, we will deal directly with the woman in an attempt to fund her procedure at that clinic or to get her an appointment at a clinic that will work with NYAAF on funding.
