Eligibility:Women must be denied or otherwise ineligible for the Oregon Health Plan before applying for funds. (Exceptions are made for second trimester pregnancies and women who do not have their birth certificate and/or were born out of state). Women must be residents of or obtaining their procedures in the State of Oregon.

Intake Procedure:Women call the NRO hotline and leave a message. A volunteer advocate will return her call within 24-48 hours and to do an intake/assessment to determine her needs and what resources are available to her. Funding decisions are made based on an individual woman's circumstances and how much funding is available. A woman does not need to have an appointment to begin the intake process, however, NRO will generally not commit funding until an abortion appointment has been set.

If women call after hours they can leave a voice mail and call center staff will respond and provide information about the Fund. Confirmation of funding will be provided within one week.
