Intake Procedure:Women are usually referred to the Lilith Fund by a clinic and call the Fund directly. Women leave can leave a message on the voicemail ONLY on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and a volunteer will return their call within 24 to 48 hours. The Fund prefers that women have an appointment for an abortion before calling and know the outstanding cost to them; however, the Fund will provide limited counseling and referrals to women that do not yet have an appointment. Once the volunteer determines the amount of assistance available to the client, the volunteer will send a voucher directly to the clinic for that amount.
