Intake Procedure:Women call the Fund's voice mail and leave information so a volunteer can call them back. The Fund tries to call back within 24 hours. A volunteer discusses their situation and helps them figure out how much money they can raise and how much the Fund can provide as a loan. The money is expected to be repaid in a timely manner. The Fund will send a check directly to the clinic.

Intake Procedure:Women call the Fund number and it automatically goes to voicemail. Fund intake person calls her back within 24 hours and asks her about when her appointment is, how much she has, where she lives, how old she is, how much she needs and ALWAYS gives her NAF's number. If she is eligible for NAF/PP funding and there is no reason for her not to get it, the Fund won't fund her if she doesn't contact them and get the funding. Then the intake coordinator contacts the intake counselor to do the intake. From then on, the woman only talks to that person and they ask a series of questions (very like NNAF's and NAF's questions) and do collaborative funding. Sometimes options counseling is involved. The Fund explains the loan process and asks if the woman would like to share their story. The Fund is about to start calling women to see how they are doing after the procedure is done.
